I am totally passionate about Textiles. My first experience was at the age of six when I was taught how to knit. I sat looking at the irregular and dropped stitches and my passion had begun.I studied Textile Design at Lewisham College and during the course worked with fabric manipulation. The White dress was designed using the manipulation techniques that I still use today.
Since leaving college I have become very interested in sculptured fabric. I have been using a technique called Shibori. I design and make wearable art as well as wall mounted work.
